Each person had a small portion of one arm exposed to poison ivy and allowed a rash to occur. The new drug was then applied to the infected area twice daily until the rash disappeared. The results are shown below = 2.4 days

3) In the above sample of 16 persons, 5 persons required 6 days or more days of treatment before the rash was gone.
