When the switch S1 is in the position shown on the diagram only two resistors, R1 and R2, are connected to the 36 V battery and the current is I1. If the switch is moved to it’s down position the third resistor R3 is connected in series to R1, R2, and the battery, producing a current I2. Find the current reading of the ammeter, I1 and I2, for the two different switch positions.
