Why can the answer NOT be x - 9 +/- square root 159 /20 ? I got that answer because the exponent would be negative. . . -9^2 is -81, so then I added 240 (got that from multiplying 4ac), and I got 159. Why am I wrong? (Check the image below!) Thanks for any help.
