The carpet salesperson measures the living room and determines it is 21 feet by 15 feet. Alfred agrees and they determine this comes to 315 square feet of carpet needed. When the salesperson says the carpet is sold in square yards, Alfred proudly states there are 3 feet in a yard so that means I'll need 105 yards." What should the salesperson do at this point? State at least one way we as a society can work toward protecting people like Alfred from potentially becoming taken advantage of such situations.​
