town on the north shore of
Lake Superior. On a line
parallel to the front of the
statue, students mark iwo
points A and B, 4 m apart.
From point A, the students
look at point C at the tip of
the left wing, as shown. The
students find that Angle BAC is
29⁰. Point D is the tip of the
right wing. From A, the
students measure Angle DAB as
81⁰ and ZDBA as 47⁰.
