28) Rob cuts grass as a job. A neighbour asked Rob to give a quote for his backyard. Rob noticed that the yard was a rectangle shape. He used the formula = × to calculate the area (in square metres). He measured the length along the fence (L=16.2 m) and the length next to the house (B= 6.7m). Show working a) Using a calculator and the formula, find the area of the yard. b) Round your answer to the nearest whole number. c) Rob charges $0.46 per square metre. What is the quote for the neighbour’s backyard? d) If Rob didn’t have a calculator and simply rounded off the lengths to the nearest whole number, what would this area be?
