Your assignment is to estimate how much drywall, drywall tape, screws and mud are needed to drywall four different rooms. Then will also estimate total price for materials and labor. You will need to figure for walls
and ceilings of all four rooms.
Drywall for walls is 1/2 x 4' x 12' at $12.07 a sheet
Drywall for ceilings 5/8 x 4' x 12' at $16.50 a sheet
Drywall mud bucket covers 500 sq. ft. at $14.97 a bucket
Drywall screws cover 1000 sq. ft. per bucket at $19.27 a box
Drywall tape covers 250sq. ft per a role at $7.95 a role
Ceilings are 8' high
For wails its LxH of all 4 walls in a room
Ceilings its LxW
Labor is total sq ft x $1.50 to hang and finish
I want the estimate to look like a real estimate. There are templates in docs for sales quotes you can use and I
attached what it should look like.
The assignment is worth 30 project points and is due Friday by end of class
Master bedroom 22' x 20'
Bedroom 2 14' x 14'
Bedroom 3 15' x 12
Kitchen 22' x 16
