Just need some help with math

Each pie/circle has 10 sections. there is 3 whole sections so you would do 10x3 is equal to 30.

then, there’s a fourth pie that has one unshaded section. so, that would be only 9. add the 30 and 9 and you would get 39.

so, for the one fraction, you would get 39/10.

for the mixed number, you get 3 9/10 because 10 goes into 39 3 times and then you have 9 left over.
