Here there are 2ways to solve x

First method:Angle Sum Property
We know that the sun of all three angles of a triangle is 180

In triangle NMR we know 2 angles(90,35)
Let y be the third angle
y+35+90=180
y+125=180
y=180-125
y=55

Now, we know that vertically opposite angles are equal. As x and y are vertically opposite angles

x=55

Second method: Angle Sum Property
We know that the sun of all three angles of a triangle is 180

In triangle PQR we know that one angle is 90 degree
Let the unknown angles be x
As there are 2 unknown angles it will 2x in the equation

2x+90=180
2x=180-90
2x=90
x=90/2
x=45
