Holidays are coming up, and you and your family are going out of town for a few weeks to visit close friends. You've decided to bake a pie to bring to the gathering. There's only one problem: the recipe you have calls for 8 eggs to make the filling and the crust for one pie, but the local grocery only sells by the dozen(12 in a carton). You're pretty sure if you leave extra eggs in the fridge over the holidays, they'll go bad. So you decide to make more pies, and bring them all. How many eggs will you need to buy so they all get used in pies, and none go to waste? How many cartons of eggs will there be? How many pies will you be making?
