( g + h )(t) = t^2 + 5t - 4t - 1

( g + h )(t) = t^2 + t - 1

( g + h )(8) = 8^2 - 8 - 1

( g + h )(8) = 64 - 8 - 1

( g + h )(8) = 56 - 1

( g + h )(8) = 55
