There are two questions in the picture, but I'll answer them both. Before you go any further, you should be familiar with the process of substitution. 1. y = 1.5x

if x = 1, then y = 1.5(1) = 1.5

if x = 2, then y = 1.5(2) = 3

if x = 3, then y = 1.5(3) = 4.5

See how we simply replace the x with the value of x? To find another solution, simply find a point that is on the line. For example, we could find x = 10.

y = 1.5(10) = 15

Therefore, another solution on the line is (10, 15).

2. y = 1.25x

if x = 1, then y = 1.25(1) = 1.25

if x = 3, then y = 1.25(3) = 3.75

You can use a similiar process as problem #1 to finish.
