jay caculated the distance between the points of (4,-7) and (-10,1) as 8.5. he found his answer by subtracting 4 and -6, and by subtracting 7 and 1 to get 6. He then used the pythagorean theorem to get 8.5. what mistakes did he make and how can he fix them
