A group of 20 students are asked the number of pets they keep in their
house. The results are:
0,0,0,0,0,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,2,2,3,4,4 ,4, & 21
1. Find the mean and the 5 important pieces using the calculator,
2. Would any of these values be considered outliers? Explain.
3. After being told that they should not count fish in the report, the value 3
becomes a 2 and one of the 2s becomes a 1. Would these changed affect
the meidan, mean or IQR?
