Visualizing the Principles of Design
Required Materials
Slide presentation software
The principles of design are a set of rules that artists use to make their work visually appealing. The principles of design are emphasis, pattern, movement, balance, rhythm, contrast, and unity.

For each of the seven principles of design, use the internet or browse your own photography work to find an image that showcases the principle. This means that the image should be a strong example of the design principle.

Once you have completed your research, compile these seven images into a slideshow. Label each image with the principle of design that it represents. Include at least one complete sentence explaining why you chose each image to represent that design principle.
