Should the US be prohibited from trading with third world factories referred to as "sweatshops"? When the US trades with a Third World country, is this an opportunity for growth or an opportunity for exploitation? Does trade make everyone better off? If not, what can be done with those made worse off? Does restricting trade by the US with a Third World country based on a claim of the use of "sweatshops" make that country better off or worse off? Why?
