3-√3 TAN Ꝋ= 0 Solve for if 0° ≤ < 360

(this is what I have so far)

The equation you are trying to solve is 3 - √(3) *tanθ = 0

You can add √(3) *tanθ to both sides: 3 = √(3) *tanθ

Divide both sides by √(3): 3/√(3) = tanθ

3/√(3) =√(3) so you can rewrite the equation as: √(3) = tanθ

√(3) is a POSITIVE value and tanθ is positive in Quadrant 1 and Quadrant 3, so your 2 solutions will there.

The angle in quadrant 1 that has a tangent of √(3) is 60 degrees.

To find the angle in quadrant 3, take the solution from quadrant 1 (that would be 60 degrees) and ADD 180 degrees to it.
