Rational numbers are numbers which can be expressed in the form p/q where p and q are both integers and q ≠ 0. Here p and q are co-prime numbers. Examples : 7/8, 1/2, etc.Irrational numbers are numbers which cannot be expressed in the form p/q where p and q are integers and q ≠ 0. Examples : √6, π, etc.
