According to a 2012 report, 68.5 % of all US adults still have a landline telephone service for which they pay. Given the rise of cell phone use, an employee for a local telephone company is interested in seeing if this percentage has decreased. A random sample of 449 US adults is selected from 2014 driver's license records. Each person sampled is asked if still have a landline telephone service for which they pay.
