3a.After that just multiply the 1% number by 75. This is the price after the 25% discount is subtracted.
3b.An alternative way to figure the problem is to also multiply the 1% number by 25 ( since that’s how much you’re discount is worth) and you’ll get the price of how much the 25% discount is worth . Now you’d just subtract the 25% number from $299 and you should still get the same answer you got on 3b.
