Given the stated problem of an oil spill spreading at a rate of 25m^2 per 1/6 of an hour, which is equal to 10min, and they want to know what the area coverage from the oil spill is after 2 hours.

If we know that the oil spill spreads at a rate of 25m^2 per 10min and they want the area after two hours or 120min we get;

Area spread rate(Area/time) * total time wanted = new area at the total time

In the problem it tells us the area spread rate and total time so we can just plug and chug at this point. So we have;

25m^2/10min * 120min = 300m^2 after 2 hours of spreading.
