1. Shadows during sunrise and sunset are longer than those cast at the noon. The reason is that Sun is low above the horizont. Sunrays come at low angle and this causes long shadows. At the noon Sun at highest point and sunrays come at big angle. This causes the shadows to be short
Also, during sunrise and sunset shadows do not have sharp edge while shadows at noon have sharp edges.

2. We can see that speed of rotation and length of day are inversely proportional. This means that as one rises the other one falls. From the table we can see that faster rotation means shorter day.
Also, we can see that there is no linear connection. Planet C has twice the speed but it does not have half the length of a day.
