You are given the length of the chain equal to 28.9cm. For each link, the length is 1.7cm long. You are required to find how many links are there in the chain. You just divide 28.9 cm by 1.7 cm to get the answer. The solution is,  

Number of links = chain length/link  length
Number of links = (28.9cm)/(1.7cm)
Number of links = chain length/link  length
Number of links = 17  
There are 17 links in a 28.9cm chain length.

The answer is c. 7 (i think) i’m almost sure though
