To graph this, I like to first put the equation in slope-intercept form. Here's how we do that.

Subtract 2x from both sides of the equation to isolate 3y

2x - 2x + 3y = 18 - 2x | 2x cancels out on the left side, and moves over to the right

3y = 18 - 2x

Now that we've moved 2x over, we need to isolate y. To do this, divide everything on the left side by 3.

y = 6 -

Flip some of those numbers around and change an operation to get this:

y = + 6
