Why is learning to cope with fears and other feelings around separation considered an important social skill

People are always afraid of being judged socially one way or another. Every single moment in our life’s we are subconsciously making choices that are influenced based on the societal view of ourselves and how others will view us. This is because humans have a biological need for social interaction at some point in their life for them to maintain a sane and rational state of mind. If we are to keep this rational state of mind, however we must overcome our everyday mental obstacles such as fears and demeaning/unhealthy feelings as dwelling on or simply pushing them aside could lead to an unstable state of mind. With that being said, learning to cope with feelings and fears and separation is important to having a rational state of mind in which we require in this world to make probable and logical choices.
