Maybe, a patient had to have a procedure but it did not fit in with the guidelines of their religion for example, eg a vaccine that had pork in it but the patient was a Muslim, the health care provider could empathise and therefore offer a different method of vaccine?

Or if a patient was struggling financially with their healthcare (if in a country with no free healthcare) the health care provider would empathise and provide support and advice on how to make it easier to pay back.

For age, an older individual may take longer to understand and process instructions (especially with an illness like Alzheimer’s), the health care provider could empathise and be more patient and offer help.
