Can somebody please explain this question? You have to dilute a patient sample. Following the lab's procedure, you prepare a 1 to 5 dilution and then run the diluted sample on the instrument. You get 265 mg/dL on the diluted sample. Using the dilution factor, what is the value you report to the physician?
