Which energy transformation takes place when a firecracker explodes

Explanation: The crackers are made up of gunpowder which is a chemical substance. When this gunpowder powder burns it produces smoke and hot gases (generation of heat and light energy) which create high pressure inside the can and blows the can open, and make all the tiny particles of powder blow out and chemical energy is converted to kinetic energy.

It makes the air to push outward and when it collapses back, it leads to generation of sound. So the chemical energy stored in gunpowder gets converted to sound.
