Of course !  The speed, acceleration, and direction of an object completely depend on the frame of reference in which they're measured.

Example:

You're sitting in a comfy chair, reading a book.  In another comfy chair next to you, a lady is knitting a sweater.  You see that SHE is at rest, and she sees that YOU are at rest.

Except that both of you are sitting in comfy chairs in Row-27 of a passenger airliner.  A person on the ground, watching your plane fly over, sees that both of you are moving east at almost 500 miles per hour.

Are you REALLY at rest ?  Are you REALLY moving at almost 500 mph ? ?

YES !  

It just depends on who is doing the measuring, and how HE is moving.
