In fun house when we stand in front of different types of mirror we got our different type of images. In some mirrors we look slim ,in some we look fat while in some mirrors we look tall and in some mirrors we look short.

There are some terms which should be clear to understand about the physics of mirrors.

1. normal line,

Normal line is a line which is  drawn perpendicular to the mirror.

2. angle of incident

angle of incident is an angle between incident ray and normal

3. Angle of reflection

angle of reflection is an angle between reflected ray and normal

Mirrors in Fun house  work by changing the point at which a perpendicular line can be drawn on the mirror. Due to this change angle of incident and angle of reflection changes and it distorted the image hence we see different images for different normal of mirrors.

In fun house usually concave and convex mirrors are used .concave and convex mirror gives different images of an object.

Convex mirror makes a person look shorter on the other hand concave mirror makes a person look taller.

These are not trick mirrors but there is physics behind them.

In fun house there are some mirrors which are not fully convex or concave, but concave in some areas and convex in other areas. This means that from the side the mirror would not appear in an arch, like convex or concave mirrors, but instead in waves.
