The main part of Dalton's theory that remains true is that the atoms are not created, destroyed or splited during a chemical reaction which is the principle of the mass conservation law applied to the chemical reactions.

Two wrong points are that Dalton affirmed that the atoms could no be divided into smaller particles (atoms can be divided into several subatomic particles) and that the atoms of a same element are identicals (isotopes are atoms of a same element that differ in the number of neutrons)
