Suppose that the metal cylinder were placed into a graduated cylinder filled with water, with markings of 1 ml, in order to find its volume by the amount of water it displaced, read to the nearest ±1 ml (note that i ml-1 cm) would this be less precise, more precise, or have approximately the same precision as calculating the volume from the given diameter and height measurements? 1 explain your reasoning.
