[10 marks] (d) the gas then expands adiabatically until it reaches a temperature ti = 25°c. compute the pressure p3 and volume v3 of the gas at the end of this process, and the work done by the gas in the process. (12 marks] (e) the gas is then compressed isothermally to a volume v4 = v3/4, before undergoing an adiabatic compression to return to its original state. compute the total work done by the gas in the entire cycle, and hence calculate the efficiency of the cycle. comment on your result.
