You are given a coil made of 200 circular turns of wire (a solenoid) sitting on a table. the diameter of the circular turns is 10cm. you are also provided with a long bnr magnet with magnetic field strength, b 750mt at its pole. you fully inserted the south pole of this magnet into the coil over a time interval of 5 seconds at a constant speed. the 200 turns of wire in the loop have a total resistance of r = 1082. assume that the magnetic field of the bar magnet is parallel to the axis of the solenoid and it covered the entire area bounded by the circular loops when it is fully inserted. (a) show the direction of the magnetic field when you insert the solenoid and look from the top. (b) what is the magnitude of the initial and final magnetic flux through the loop? assume initially the magnet was not near the solenoid. (c) what is the magnitude of the voltage induced in the loop of wire while the magnetic field is increasing? (d) what is the magnitude of the current induced in the loop of wire while the magnetic field is increasing? (e) what is the direction of the original magnetic field? 1. is the original magnetic field increasing or decreasing? 2. does the induced magnetic field oppose or reinforce the original field? 3. what is the direction of the induced magnetic field? 4. what direction is the direction of the induced current flow around the loop? (f) now you completely pull the magnet out of the solenoid at the same speed you inserted it in over the same time interval of 5 seconds. for the questions (a) to (d) give the answers that would be different. (g) we now inserted the north pole in the same way as we did for the south pole

You have a resistor and a capacitor of unknown values. first, you charge the capacitor and discharge it through the resistor. by monitoring the capacitor voltage on an oscilloscope, you see that the voltage decays to half its initial value in 2.70 miss . you then use the resistor and capacitor to make a low-pass filter. what is the crossover frequency fc?
