In 1993 the radius of hurricane emily was about 350 km. the wind speed near the center ("eye") of the hurricane, whose radius was about 30 km, reached about 200 km/h. as air swirled in from the rim of the hurricane toward the eye, its angular momentum remained roughly constant. estimate.(a) the wind speed at the rim of the hurricane.(b) the pressure difference at the earth’s surface between the eye and the rim. where is the pressure greater? (c) if the kinetic energy of the swirling air in the eye could be converted completely to gravitational potential energy, how high would the air go? (d) in fact, the air in the eye is lifted to heights of several kilometers. how can you reconcile this with your answer to part (c)?

This is important 1. what happens to the speed of molecules in water vapor when it condenses to form a liquid? (2 points) the molecules slow down. the molecules speed up. the molecules slow down and then speed up. the molecules speed up and then slow down. 2. how might human activities change to compensate for a decrease in water supplies? (2 points) humans might build a factory. humans might build drainage systems. humans might extract more water from the ground. human behavior does not change because of the water cycle. i'll be grateful if anyone can answer these 2 questions !

Emmy kicks a soccer ball up at an angle of 45° over a level field. she watches the ball's trajectory and notices that it lands, two seconds after being kicked, about 20 m away to the north. assume that air resistance is negligible, and plot the horizontal and vertical components of the ball's velocity as a function of time. consider only the time that the ball is in the air, after being kicked but before landing. take "north" and "up" as the positive ‑ and ‑directions, respectively, and use ≈10 m/s2 for the downward acceleration due to gravity.
