Asimple series circuit consists of a 130 ? resistor, a 30.0v battery, a switch, and a 2.10 pf parallel-plate capacitor (initially uncharged) with plates 5.0 mm apart. the switch is closed at t =0s.

part a.

after the switch is closed, find the maximum electric flux through the capacitor. (answer is in v * m)

part b.

after the switch is closed, find the maximum displacement current through the capacitor. (answer is in a)

part c.

find the electric flux at t =0.50ns. (answer is in v * m)

part d.

find the displacement current at t =0.50ns. (answer is in a)

Aplane takes off from an airport and flies to town a, located d1 = 215 km from the airport in the direction 20.0° north of east. the plane then flies to town b, located d2 = 230 km at 30.0° west of north from town a. use graphical methods to determine the distance and direction from town b to the airport. (enter the distance in km and the direction in degrees south of west.)

Astudent is performing an experiment comparing sound and light waves. the student gathers the following data. what conclusion does the student most likely make based on this data? light waves always travel the same speed; however, the speed of sound is determined by the medium that it travels through. all sound waves always have the same energy, so the temperature of the medium does not affect wave speed. light needs to vibrate particles, so it travels fastest in tightly packed solids, while sound does not need a medium, so it travels fastest in a gas. tightly packed particles in solids slow down the light waves; however, sound waves make particles bounce into each other, so they travel faster in solids.
