Astainless steel plate (aisi 316) is part of a low temperature heat-treat oven; the plate has a thickness of 1.00 cm. the stainless steel plate is insulated (on one side only) with foam insulation (k = 0.044 w/m-k) 3.00 cm thick; which in turn is covered on one side only with a layer of hard rubber (k = 0.160 w/m-k) 1.00 cm thick (the composite wall goes: stainless steel/foam insulation/hard rubber). the inside-temperature of the stainless steel plate is measured to be 150.0°c, while the outside of the rubber is exposed to convection, t[infinity] = 25.0°c, h[infinity] = 12.0 w/m^2-k. the plate has dimensions of 2.50 m wide by 3.50 m tall.
