Due to this, there occurs wind, which is mainly caused due to pressure differences from one location to another. This wind blows from a region of higher pressure to a region of low pressure in a horizontal manner and replaces the warm air by cold air.

Wind plays a significant role in maintaining the weather and the climate pattern of an area. This wind blows both over the surface of the land as well as oceans or seas.
