As we've discussed, one model of material deformation links stress and strain
by a material constant called a modulus. For a material under lengthwise
stress (tension or compression), this is Young's modulus (Y) and the relation

allowed for the direct measurement of the stress and strain. By applying the
model above, rank the Young's modulus for each of these five materials from
