Two soccer players are picking up a full water jug off the ground to
place it onto a cart. They both are pulling up and outward on either
side of the jug with 250N of force at an angle of 45 degrees. If the
mass of the water jug is 35 kg, are the soccer players applying
enough force to lift the water jug? Why or why not?
If not, how could they lift it up without changing their magnitude of
force?
How much force would they have to apply if they didn't change the
angle in which they are lifting it up?
