The arctic tern flies from the Arctic to the Antarctic and back every year, a total distance of 22,000 miles! In late summer, the terns start their migration south, and it takes about 3 months to go the 11,000 miles. What is the average velocity, in miles per day, that these birds travel? (Remember, velocity also includes direction!)
