A Student studying engineering at the university of Zambia was provided with two

resistors with the following colour codes (green, black, red, gold) and

(brown, black, brown, gold)

(a) Draw a circuit showing the two resistors connected in series with each other

and the battery

(b)Using the colour code determine the resistance for each resistor.

(c) Calculate the total resistance and the uncertainty in the total resistance.
