Also the displacement is one dimension is defined as the difference between 2 positions, that is

So for the exercise we have

$\Delta s_x =x(6)-x(1)$

And we know that x(1) = 2.0, so we can write

$x(6) = x(1) +\Delta s_x \\x(6) = 2.0 m + \Delta s_x$
