I am an engineer building a new hair dryer. I have developed an efficient motor to move the air around, and filaments to heat the air as it passes through. However, when I test my hair dryer using different amounts of current, I find that the hair dryer overheats when current passes 13 amps. To ensure this is not dangerous for my customers, what should I install into my hair dryer? How does it work? Where would I install it?
