Refraction of Light Objectives The objectives of this experiment are: ( l) to study light as it travels from one media to another through an interface, (2) to study Snell's law of refraction, (3) to study and learn the definition of index of refraction, (4) to study the relationship between the index of media, (5) to become familiar with the values refraction and the speed of light for a given of index of refraction for various materials, and (6) to measure the index of refraction for a glass sample.
