Please Help I am so lost 16 On July 4, 2017 North Korea tested an Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) that reached a height of 2802
about 40 minutes. When the missile travels away from the earth, the gravitational force on the missile and
hence the acceleration due to gravity will decrease with height. Assume:
(i) The acceleration due to gravity at a height 'h' above the earth is given by
G= (R)^2/(R+h)^2 where R, is
the radius of the earth and g (-9.8ms-2) is the acceleration due to gravity at the earth's surface.
(ii) The acceleration of the missile to be the average between the minimum and maximum accelerations it
feels.
(iii) The missile had a single rocket boost.
Using the above information, find
A)
The average acceleration (deceleration) of the ICBM.
B)
The initial speed (V.) and the angle of the missile at launch

Hint: Even though there are numbers in the problem, work it out using symbols. Use 'X' for the
horizontal distance traveled, 'T' for the time of flight and 'a' for the acceleration found in (a).You should
be able to find an expression for (v.) terms of X, T, and a. Now substitute numbers.

(c) The maximum distance it could travel if projected at a different angle? What is the new time of flight?
Hint: If you have worked out part (b) using symbols, this part should be quite straightforward
