Draw 3 separate graphs for each of these situations below. The 3 separate graphs are a position graph, a velocity graph and an acceleration graph. Situation 1: You are standing 5 meters away from a motion detector. You walk 5 meters further away at a constant rate of 1 m/s, then turn around and walk 10 meters back towards the detector at a rate of 2 m/s. You stand still for 5 seconds then walk 10 meters away and back at a rate of 5 m/s.
Situation 2: You are stopped at a freeway entrance ramp. You accelerate constantly at a rate of 5 m/s for 6 seconds. What velocity have you reached? You enter the freeway and continue at that velocity for 5 seconds before exiting the highway. You decelerate at a constant rate for 10 seconds before coming to a stop.
