Retractable pens contain small springs with a spring constant, k, of about 300 N/m. This is what allows you to click them (sse diagram) to extend and retract the ink cartridge (refill) outside the housing. (see diagram). You decide to take the pen apart and compress the spring attached to the ink refill. You flip the refill over and point the pen refill straight up, spring side down and compress the spring. As you release the refill (cartridge) the spring is uncoiled and reaches its equilibrium (relaxed) length. If the spring was compressed by 1 cm, how high, in meters, does the pen refill travel upward before coming to rest? The pen refill has a mass of 0.002 kg. You may ignore air resistance. Take the acceleration due to gravity near the surface of the earth as about 10 m/s2
