Difference between visible spectrum and invisible spectrum

Obviously one is visible and the other is invisible. However humans can only see visible light because the rays of light are of particular colors and gamma rays. However Non-visible light is not seen because it comes in ultraviolet and infrared colors, to the point where the human eye is not capable of seeing that light.
