3.) A 70.0 kg scuba diver in the Caribbean (she is trying to recover from final exams!!)
is in the process of returning to the surface of the water after observing all the
beautiful, exotic fish. She is returning straight up to the surface at a constant 1.00
m/s. On the way up, she is using only her flippers to propel her upwards. The
water itself helps and hinders (works against) her ascent to the surface. It helps
her by providing a buoyant force on her of 650 N, but hinders her by putting a
water resistance force (analogous to air resistance) on her of 400.0 N. So, how
hard are her flippers pushing down against the water for her to make this ascent
to the surface?
